Haití; Ante las puertas del poder femenino

El Horizonte, Santo Domingo RD.-  En la historia política de Haití, han existido grandes mujeres de la política, pero ninguna ha gobernado el país bajo la modalidad democrática del período de los 5 años y la gracia de su única reelección.

María Luisa, por ejemplo ejercido influencia en Jean-Pierre Boyer y sobre los asuntos de Estado durante, un período de 36 años.

Otras mujeres en la era de los emperadores Haitianos, bajo título de Reinas también asumieron gran poder en Haití.

Importantes mujeres han tenido roles de activistas sociales, religiosas, culturales, incluso del vudú (religión ancestral haitiana).

Posiblemente la Señora Martine Moise, podría ser la primera mujer en convertirse Presidenta de Haití bajo el régimen del voto democrático popular.

Su primer texto, después del magnicidio de su esposo Jóvenel, es visto como un grito de guerra “Estoy viva, gracias a Dios, estoy viva, pero perdí a mi esposo”.

Una mujer con gran corazón, lo demostró al volver desde La Florida, al escenario donde fue ejecutado su esposo. Porque volvió? Quién la escoltaba? Porque el comando la dejó con vida? Hay muchas preguntas por responder.

Estoy casi seguro que ella piensa seriamente en correr para la presidencia, es cuestión de amarres, fuerzas y orden de los poderes externos que influyen en la segunda nación en lograr la independencia en el nuevo mundo.
