Santo Domingo RD.- El expresidente de la Cámara de Diputados y delegado técnico de Leonel Fernández antes la JCE, Rubén Maldonado retiró este miércoles las acusaciones contra Jochi Gómez, a quién señaló ayer como el principal responsable de un supuesto fraude en las primarias del Partido de la Liberación Dominicana y el PRM.
“Ciertamente no conozco al joven Jochi Gómez, no tengo ninguna relación con él; no tengo por qué tener una actitud contra él. Cre o que ayer mis declaraciones o no fueron bien interpretadas o no supe vexpresar a ciencia cierta mi punto de vista”, indicó Maldonado durante una intervención en el programa El Sol de la Mañana.
El Diputado sostuvo que “lo que quise plantear es que muchos, hasta por las redes sociales, lo sindicaban a él y a muchas personas más, y nosotros dijimos que vamos a seguir investigando para llegar al fondo del asunto”.

Las declaraciones de Maldonado surgen luego de que el abogado Carlos Balcácer, a través de del espacio de telesistema y ese mismo espacio, hizo un llamado al congresista para que “reflexione y rectifique”.
“Yo quiero complacer esa petición de Balcácer. Estamos trabajando con ese tema, si al final descubrimos que Jochi Gómez, o quien sea (está involucrado), también lo denunciaremos, responsablemente”, manifestó el expresidente de la cámara baja.
