Policía Nacional cumple su aporte al fomento de la cultura y la unión social durante VII Festival Cultural en Salcedo

Salcedo, RD.- La Policía Nacional, entidad que está al servicio de la sociedad dominicana, participó y respaldó de manera exitosa el “Séptimo Festival Cultural Hermanas Mirabal”, que se realizó desde el jueves 21 hasta el domingo 24 de este mes en el municipio de Salcedo, provincia Hermanas Mirabal.
Se trató de un magno evento con la participación de un stand Policial donde los presentes recibieron orientaciones preventivas, así como también se realizaron juegos con los niños que se dieron cita en el lugar.
Jueves
A primeras horas de la mañana desfilaron seis colegios entidades culturales y otras instituciones.
El acto se inauguración fue realizado en el escenario principal del festival en la calle Doroteo Antonio Tapia, con la presencia del gobernador Bienvenido Antonio Alcanzar, el embajador de España, señor Alejandro Abellán García, el alcalde de Santiago Abel Martínez, la alcaldesa de Salcedo María Mercedes Ortiz.
El gobernador provincial Bienvenido Almánzar destacó que el motivo de este evento es fomentar la cultura, la unión y los avances sociales que se desarrollan en la provincia Hermanas Mirabal tanto a nivel nacional como internacional. Resaltó, además, el avance del turismo ecológico basado en un programa donde intervienen todos los sectores de esta provincia.
Almánzar agradeció al presidente Danilo Medina Sánchez por desarrollar estas acciones que benefician a la provincia Hermanas Mirabal.
También estuvieron presentes Bautista Rojas Gómez, Jaime David Fernández Mirabal y Jazmín de la Cruz y los coroneles Frías Candelario y Giovanny Gallardo Peña.
Viernes y sábado
Nuestro stand institucional tuvo como protagonistas a nuestros policías pertenecientes a las Policía Científica, Policía Escolar y del Departamento de Reclutamiento.
De la primera dependencia, los niños y jóvenes aprendieron de la importancia de la unidad científica en las acciones para investigar un crimen, así como las herramientas que utilizan al momento de realizar esta delicada e importante labor.
En tanto que los miembros de la Policía Escolar conversaron con los asistentes acerca de las diferentes maneras en cómo trabajan por su seguridad en los planteles educativos donde estudian, mientras que el personal de reclutamiento contestó las inquietudes de los jóvenes interesados en acudir al llamado del deber.
Domingo
El titular de nuestra Policía Nacional, mayor general Ney Aldrin Bautista Almonte, visitó el centro deportivo de la comunidad Salcedo donde lanzó la primera bola para dar apertura al torneo softbol en el cual los deportistas de nuestra institución lograron el triunfo ante la selección del equipo anfitrión de la provincia Hermanas Mirabal.
De igual forma, el alto oficial participó del acto de apertura de la carrera de ciclista “Ecobike Patria Mirabal” en su séptima versión, dedicada a la provincia Santiago de los Caballeros, así como a España, país internacional invitado.
La tarde fue propicia para nuestro grupo de Pericombo, que con su repertorio de “perico ripiao”, puso a bailar a todas las personas que visitaron la “VII Feria Cultural Hermanas Mirabal”, mientras que en la noche la Orquesta San Judas Tadeo cerró con broche de oro el evento con su espectacular presentación artística.
El Festival Cultural es organizado con el apoyo de la gobernación provincial y del Ministerio de Cultura. En esta ocasión es dedicado a España y a la provincia de Santiago de los Caballeros.
Nuestra Policía Nacional reitera a la sociedad dominicana que siempre estará respaldando estas iniciativas que permiten fortalecer los vínculos con la sociedad.
