ADN invierte RD$32 millones en drenaje pluvial ante temporada ciclónica

SANTO DOMINGO.- El alcalde del Distrito Nacional David Collado dio inicio a una serie de obras para el mejoramiento del drenaje pluvial de la ciudad, como medida preventiva por el inicio de la temporada ciclónica.
Durante un acto en el auditorio del club Mauricio Báez el mandatario de la ciudad detalló la realización de estas próximas obras que impactarán 26 sectores de la capital de los cuales 23 se llevarán a cabo con fondos del Presupuesto Participativo Municipal por un monto de 25.6 millones y 3 a cargo de la Administración por un monto de 6.3 millones de pesos.
Los sectores beneficiados fueron seleccionados durante la celebración de 53 asambleas comunitarias conforme a las prioridades de cada uno, y anunciados mediante la celebración de Cabildo Abierto “Tu Barrio Decide” celebrada por el Concejo de Regidores el pasado mes de mayo.
Las comunidades a beneficiarse de estas obras vía el presupuesto participativo serán Los Platanitos, Los Praditos y Manganagua pertenecientes a la circunscripción 1.
En tanto, que en la circunscripción número 2 las comunidades beneficiadas serán Cristo Rey, El Caliche y los 800 de los Ríos, El Claret, Galá, La Agustinita calles Puerto Rico y San Rafael, La Esperanza, La Yaguita, Los Galindez, Los Girasoles II y Santa Teresa.
Finalmente de la circunscripción número 3 los beneficiados serán Agua Dulce y el Respaldo 8, 13, 14 y 27 del sector 27 de Febrero, la 40 del Ensanche Luperón, La Ciénega, la 38 del sector La Zurza, la 10 de Loma del Chivo y Mejoramiento Social.
Mientras las 3 obras que se realizarán a cargo de la administración serán Arroyo Hondo, Paseo de los Locutores y Los Cacicazgos.
El alcalde David Collado durante su disertación destacó y aplaudió el trabajo realizado por los regidores en la distribución del presupuesto participativo, y la minuciosidad con que se priorizaron las necesidades de las diferentes comunidades.
“El Presupuesto Participativo aprobado es la manera de ver y palpar las necesidades reales de las comunidades de cada circunscripción que conforman este Distrito Nacional, y es necesario que los comunitarios nos permitan conocer con detalles cada una de ellas” agregó.
“No se trata solamente de que como alcaldía celebremos asambleas. Es también que los delegados escogidos en cada una de estas asambleas puedan defender sus sectores, expresen sus necesidades y posteriormente cuiden y velen por mantener en condiciones las obras que como cabildo llevamos a su comunidad”, concluyó Collado
Collado insistió en que su gestión se trata de llevar felicidad a los comunitarios sin colores partidarios, buscando el consenso de todos los sectores para alcanzar una mejor ciudad.
Destacó que pequeñas obras como lo es la reparación del drenaje pluvial en puntos neurálgicos de Santo Domingo, pueden no solo cambiar vidas, sino además ser el ejemplo de que muchas pérdidas humanas, materiales y de inmuebles dejarán de suceder cuando arrecien las fuertes lluvias y tormentas tropicales que inundan las calles de todos estos sectores.
El funcionario destacó que en estos dos años y 11 meses se ha llevado soluciones y limpiezas a más de 4200 imbornales, ha reparado más de 300 parrillas y se están colocando más de 320 nuevas, en distintos puntos de la ciudad.
Collado resaltó como el ADN ha dado el frente al problema del drenaje pluvial en distintos sectores de la ciudad, sólo tomando en cuenta las necesidades de los barrios, sin jugar a la politiquería.
Se recuerda que el cabildo ya ha realizado obras de drenaje pluvial en sectores como el ensanche Kennedy, la Castellana, los kilómetros de la Carretera Sánchez; en el 30 de Mayo, en el Manguito y La Chorrera de Manganagua, entre otros.
Al acto asistió el presidente del Concejo de Regidores, Víctor Ogando, y sus colegas de las distintas bancadas representadas en el Cabildo, la vicealcaldesa, Digna Reynoso; la secretaria general del cabildo, Viviana Riveiro; Stalin Alcántara, entre otras personalidades.
