Montás afirma que el PLD ganará las elecciones municipales y avanzará para las presidenciales

El Partido de la Liberación Dominicana (PLD) ganará las elecciones municipales de febrero y avanzará sin pausa a triunfar en las presidenciales y legislativas de mayo 2020 porque todo el partido está integrado a la campaña y Gonzalo Castillo es un fenómeno político que dará una gran sorpresa, afirmó este lunes el presidente de la organización, ingeniero Temístocles Montás.
El presidente del PLD dijo que a pesar de que en los próximos días viene una guerra de encuestas, “estamos seguros que vamos a ganar las elecciones de febrero”.
Entrevistado en el programa televisivo Enfoque Matinal, por el CDN canal 37, Montás explicó que la marcha de Santiago el sábado fue para celebrar el 46 aniversario del PLD, pero “aprovechamos la ocasión para hacer la proclamación de todos los candidatos a alcaldes de los municipios de la provincia”.
Agregó que eso va a ocurrir en Santo Domingo, donde también se va a conmemorar el aniversario pero se va aprovechar para proclamar los candidatos alcaldes y regidores de la zona metropolitana de Santo Domingo.
Gonzalo es un fenómeno
En cuanto a la marcha de la candidatura presidencial de Gonzalo Castillo para las elecciones de mayo, Montás definió al postulado del PLD como “un fenómeno político” de aceptación popular.
“Gonzalo lo ha estado haciendo muy bien. Gonzalo ha logrado impactar. Yo que he estado acompañándolo en varias de las actividades te puedo asegurar que para mí Gonzalo se está convirtiendo en un fenómeno político de popularidad”.
Dijo que es sorprendente “ver la reacción de las mujeres cuando el compañero Gonzalo Castillo se mueve en las diferentes actividades. Hay que ver la reacción de la juventud cuando Gonzalo Castillo participa en las diferentes actividades”, expresó el presidente del PLD.
Montás explicó que para entender el fenómeno político que es hoy Gonzalo, hay que tomar en cuenta que derrotó a Leonel Fernández en tan solo 27 días de precampaña.
“Recuerden que nosotros proclamamos a Gonzalo como precandidato del sector mayoritario del partido el 9 de septiembre y las primarias se celebraron el 6 de octubre. Es decir: el en 27 días logró ganarle al excompañero Leonel Fernández y eso habla muy bien de Gonzalo.
Agregó que Gonzalo venía precedido de una excelente labor al frente del Ministerio de Obras Públicas, valorada por todo el mundo, hasta por la oposición, “pero además que a él le tocó ser el cabeza del movimiento reeleccionista dentro del partido.
Usted no puede perder de vista de que en el PLD había un sector importante que quería la reelección del compañero Medina y quien encabezó eso fue Gonzalo que cosechó los frutos de su éxito en Obras Públicas, pero además de su liderazgo de ese sector que quería la reelección de Medina”.
Elecciones legislativas y presidenciales
Para Montás, la alianza que tiene el partido que postula a Leonel y el Partido Revolucionario Moderno (PRM), que lleva a Luis Abinader, es sumamente compleja porque los candidatos a senadores tendrán que decidir por cuál candidato presidencial van a hacer campaña en cada provincia.
“¿Por quién va a hacer campaña en San Cristóbal el candidato a senador de esa alianza, por Abinader o por Leonel? Hay un problema, es una alianza extraña, como tú me explica a la gente que son de Leonel que van de candidato en la boleta del PRM por quién van a hacer campaña, por Leonel o por Luis Abinader”, expresó el dirigente del PLD.
Recordó que son elecciones presidenciales y legislativas en un mismo día, por lo que los candidatos a senador y a diputados de cada provincia tienen que promover a alguien. “Es una alianza extraña, como decía Danilo, de macos y cacatas”, puntualizó.
